Dog owners: watch out for grapes and raisins

Many know that chocolate--especially dark chocolate--can be toxic to dogs.  But now and then we have a critical case come in that underscores the fact that there are other everyday foods to keep away from your dog as well.  Like grapes and raisins, which are much more toxic in small doses than chocolate.  You should take your dog in for prompt treatment if you suspect that he or she has eaten any grapes or raisins, as severe kidney damage can occur.
